Biscuit Barrel went on pilgrimage for the planet around Gillingham on Sunday evening! We combined Geo-caching with litter picking around the Wyke area. Geo-caching uses an app to find hidden caches – a typical one is a small waterproof container containing a logbook and sometimes a pen or pencil. As Biscuit Barrel we signed each log we found and then placed it back exactly where we found it. But just as much fun was picking litter – prize of the night for finding the most unusual litter goes to Robert Browning who found a windscreen wiper blade and a Christmas bauble! Our evening finished with hot chocolate and hot cross buns back at the VSR.
