Day 92 Revd Tim Heaton’s Thought for the Day
Some years ago I went into Milton Primary School and the children were already gathered in the hall for assembly. They were chanting, One-world-think-glo-bal, One-world-think-glo-bal, over and over again.
I remember at the time thinking what a wonderful mantra it was for children to be reciting, and how great it would be if we grownups could do the same.
With all the racism, xenophobia and religious hatred going on in the world, fuelled by isolationism and a toxic nationalism, I can just hear it beating in my ears once again, One-world-think-glo-bal, One-world-think-glo-bal. Because all are one in Christ.
