Day 97  Revd Tim Heaton’s Though for the Day

I recently discovered a website that tells you all the so-called “awareness” days and weeks that fill the year (www.awarenessdays.com). Today is the start of National Picnic Week, Breathe Easy Week and World Wellbeing Week.

It’s also Children’s Hospice Week, and Anne Kings in Gillingham is doing a wonderful thing to raise money for Julia’s House in Corfe Mullen. Anne has written a children’s story called Button Cottage Lockdown. I’ve read it and I think it’s really good.

She’d like to give you a copy in exchange for a donation to Julia’s House, which is a really great idea. Please contact her at annemkings2@btinternet.com if you’d like to help raise some money for Julia’s House this Children’s Hospice Week.
